QUALITY CONTROL

Fabric is a product that quite often presents defects and/or negative characteristics, that if present on a garment can determine its non saleability.
It is therefore extremely important to identify the imperfections present in the fabric to reject the defective part, thereby avoiding additional manufacturing costs of 2nd quality garments.

For over 30 years now our Group has been working in quality inspection, control of the technical characteristics of sold fabrics and signalling of defects, so that, once pinpointed, they can be correctly managed during the subsequent cutting and manufacturing stages.
All the machines within the group have been designed by our technical staff to optimise the detection of defects and furthermore guarantee the exact measuring. A particular characteristic of all our inspection machines is the suction conveyor with double inspection section that guarantees the tension free measurement of all fabrics, including knitted fabrics.

The double inspection section is extremely useful in identifying all types of defects that may be present in the fabric.
Our machine can also create the lining and/or contrast effect, indispensable for highlighting yarn irregularities, impurities, foreign fibres, stains, etc..
The completely automated pre-control and control department of Coteco - Castiglion Fiorentino, is often visited by our clients and those related to the fabric and clothing industries.
Thanks to this system, which is one of the most avant-garde in Italy, the physical exertion of the operators is notably reduced thereby allowing them to dedicate their full concentration on the inspection of the fabric.

The working methods, standards and procedures are completely personalised based on the individual needs of the manufacturing or fabric producing client at the same time respecting fully the type and end use of the said fabric.
