The CO.DE.TEX./CO.TE.CO.
group also carry out inspections in Italy and abroad directly
at the producer, before the fabrics are shipped.
To this aim, highly qualified personnel are used and sent
abroad to carry out all inspection activities in the production
plant as if they were performed in the CO.DE.TEX
plants. Either a 100% or at random inspection can be carried
out.
The expert entrusted by CO.DE.TEX. is always

Tests and analyses both on textiles as well as yarns, leather,
leather items and footwear.
The widespread use of new materials in the textile field and
the continuous requests of the fashion field increase the
need for laboratory tests and analyses concerning colour fastness,
stability of goods to washing and pressing, deformation of
the items due to daily wear.
